DePaul CPE in cooperation with the American Payroll Association (APA) is offering the nationally developed Payroll Professional Learning Series (PPLS) to help new and current payroll professionals remain current in the ever-changing payroll industry and prepare for the FPC and CPP Certification Examinations.

Overview

PPLS is designed to increase your knowledge of payroll compliance from the fundamental to the advanced issues. Organizations are in business to make a profit and your payroll department could be shortchanging your bottom line if you’re not aware of all the regulations and procedures governing payroll. In payroll it is important to maintain compliance by keeping up with changing payroll legislation and procedures. Staying current is not only important to your company’s bottom line, but also to your continued professional development.

Whether you are new to the industry and need to learn the basics of payroll or are interested in preparing for the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification examinations, PPLS will help you meet your goals through:

  What type of certificate is awarded?
  Students will be awarded a Certificate of Professional Achievement upon successful completion of the entire Learning Series. The Certificate of Professional Achievement from DePaul University should not be confused with the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or the Fundamental Payroll certification (FPC) examinations.
