CPP Review Class Details
The Chicago Chapter Review Class for the Spring 2008 CPP Certification test will be held at ADP, 100 Northwest Point Blvd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 on the following dates:

16, 2008 ----8:30 - 5:00
March 1, 2008 -------8:30 - 5:00 March
15, 2008 --------8:30 - 5:00
March 29, 2008 -----8:30 - 5:00 April
12, 2008 ----------8:30 – 5:00 Continental breakfast begins at 8:30, class begins at 9:00
The class is an excellent study guide to assist you in preparing for the CPP exam, and a review for current CPP’s meeting continuing education requirements. The 6 day class allows time for a comprehensive review of the text. We will be using, The Payroll Source, 2007. Participants can purchase the book from APA, 660 North Main Avenue, Suite 100, San Antonio, Texas 78205-1217 (210-226-4600). If paying by credit card, fill out APA's web order form (www.americanpayroll.org) and fax to: 210-224-6038. It will take 3 to 4 weeks to receive your Payroll Source Text.
The Certified Payroll Professional Exam and the Chapter’s Review Course is designed to educate payroll professionals on the various subjects and create a standard measure of overall payroll competency. The CPP exam covers the following topics:
•Payroll Fundamentals and Operations
•Fundamentals for Calculation of Paychecks
•Tax and Regulatory Compliance
•Accounting
•Payroll and Supporting Systems
•Management and Administration
CPP Review Class Fees:
If you are a Member of the Chicago Chapter - $275.00
If you are not a member of the Chicago Chapter - $325.00
If you wish to join the Chicago Chapter - $315.00 (includes the class fee and $40.00 dues)

FPC Fills Need for Entry-Level Certification! To meet the needs of
entry-level payroll employees and certify their learning experience, payroll managers should consider the FPC exam to be held in the spring. To prepare for this exam the Chicago Chapter is having a FPC review class.
